CFS Cedar Rapids

This was the first time that the Papillion La Vista South football program participated in the CFS Mattress Fundraiser and we felt that it was a big success. When it comes to raising funds for our program, we always think in terms of “win-win” situations. This project definitely helped everyone who was involved. Our Titan Football supporters had the opportunity to acquire top of the line mattresses and accessories at wholesale prices, CFS was able to use our awesome facility to move lots of product, and our football program was able to make a good deal of money in a short amount of time. We definitely plan on continuing our “win-win” partnership with CFS!

We MADE $8500 with only 26 students participating and Austin Kesterson is an awesome leader. His crew, staff and professionalism through the whole process was amazing. We will definitely do it again! Austin is up front with everything and it is really the easiest fundraiser I’ve done in 17 years of teaching and the most profitable.

Each of the three years that I’ve worked with CFS, I have been more than pleased. In nearly 20 years of working with students and trying nearly every fundraising idea out there, I have learned some lessons. #1 Students are not good at selling and #2 Collecting money is a major pain.
